Standing Together

Working for You

I’ve proudly served the City of Billings as a law-enforcement officer for over 20 years, with the last 15 years assigned to the Investigations Division as a detective. A lot has changed during that time, except my deep commitment to serving the public.

As a detective, I have investigated all types of violent crimes but my primary focus has been investigating crimes against children. I have seen firsthand the devastating impacts of funding cuts to the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). It was the continual, drastic cuts to DPHHS’s budget that drove me to run for the State Legislature as a Representative for House District 47 in Billings in 2022 and thanks to your support, sent me to Helena.

About New House Districts

Following the 2020 census, all Montana Senate and House Districts underwent the process of redistricting, the act of redrawing political boundaries. The 2023 Legislature approved the Districting and Apportionment Commission’s new legislative district maps. My current House District 47 has expanded its boundaries and was renumbered as HD 45, where I am proudly seeking re-election as your representative.

The 2023 Legislative session was my first term in an elected position as a Representative for House District 47 in the Montana House of Representatives. It was an extremely busy and demanding session, but my 31+ years in law enforcement prepared me well for its many challenges.
